Green Apple Lemonade Smoothie

I’m a big fan of green smoothies, they are a great way to quick and easy nutrients that fill you up. I have been experimenting with different combinations and this has become my favorite go to recipe. It is simple to create, I make a big batch in the morning and save half for lunch in a mason jar which lasts well in the refrigerator.

  • 1 Green Apple
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Orange or Pear
  • ½ Cucumber
  • 2 cups Coconut Water
  • 3 cups Organic Spinach or Kale (or a little of both)
  • 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
  1. Slice the Green Apple and Pear (if used) into chunks to make it easier for the blender.
  2. Cut off the peal from the Lemon and Orange (if used). I find it easiest to quarter the fruit then pull of the peal.
  3. Cut the cucumber in to large diced chunks.
  4. Combine all ingredients into a powerful blender. I recommend the Vitamix using the smoothie setting.
